Also, components like in figma could be helpful - use case: once I change one graphic or icon in one slide, it's changed in all other slides with the same component -> saves tons of time, keeps everything in line

Would be helpful to split between images, logos, icons, illustrations, videos and gifs - or just let us create own folders so it can be dedicated for each team e.g. sales, tech, venture

Im with Matthias. Being able to store template slides as reusable assets would be very useful. I tend to reuse slide templates based on their content. They all share a stylesheet, it would be great to be able to pull them from a library as opposed to having to hunt them down in various decks and copy them in.

It would be great if whole slides could be saved as assets and automatically be updated in all the presentations that use them when I update the 'Master'

I didn't think of this, but now would find that superuseful if it works similarly to Figma like design components: If I update them in the library I can easily update them in the presentation too, like apply changes.

Agree. Re-uploading assets on multiple decks that unnecessarily fill up S3 buckets feels as wrong as the user experience of skimming existing decks for an image/video to copy and paste a reference to a present media file to minimize used cloud storage.
An asset library could also enable the use case when a user wants to replace an uploaded image or video that has been placed on multiple decks. For example, when a logo has evolved, when team photos were renewed, or some presented UI has been redesigned.
