More text styles

I understand the "limitations are good" approach here, but there are so, so many instances that require more type styles than we currently have.
In addition, when type styles aren't allowed to link with those of PowerPoint, it makes smooth imports and exports impossible. This would/could be something nice to include in the next type style update.
And another suggestion, maybe you can use starter template sets based on common Type Scales (Minor Thirds, Golden Ratio, etc) e.g. https://typescale.com/

I'd like the ability to add more style sheets (beyond Headline, Subhead, Normal, Small Text, etc).

In addition to being able to add custom type styles, I'd like to able to remove the style from a text block. That way, the block would keep the formatting I give it through edits and duplication and not default back to the underlying style I started with. It's great for one-offs and tweaking text to look right on a particular slide.

It would be lovely to have the possibility to add more text styles!

I would love to see a distinction between page numbers and small text. Currently page numbers are inherited by the small text style. Along with H2, H3 and or the ability to create your own styling titles.

The lack of custom text styles (or at least more than the current count) severely limits our ability to use templating :(

We would really like to have the freedom to define the number and specifications of text styles on our own. We are a software for brands and we experienced that there are many brands out there that are building different page templates with different text patterns. It is not always just about "Title", "Headline" and so on – sometimes we have a different "Copy" text style, a "Quote" text style and these styles should be available to select, because otherwise we build manual texts on templates.
