Currently the "play button" on recorded videos is only shown when you hover over a video. Would be good to have this as a sticky feature.

e.g. choose if the play button is shown always on top of the thumbnail or only when hovering over the thumbnail.

Yes I totally agree !
New users currently have no cues to click on the video.
The play button could also be large, in the center of the slide, in order to launch the global playback.

Without the play button present in the thumbnail it often just looks like bad pic. Would be a nice option to be able to chose to have it or not
