Stephanie Leong Thanks but I can't work out how to do this, are there instructions you can link me to?

Stephanie Leong Great addition. As with the others, can you give a quick update on how to access the feature?
Stephanie Leong
Dan Burman Jim Brown This feature is only available on the new plans. Can you check which plan you're on?

Stephanie Leong Thanks, looks like my company are on legacy pro - do we need to switch to the current pro plan? Is there a difference in cost?
Stephanie Leong
Jim Brown Yes, you'll need to switch to get access to this feature. You can see the price difference in the Billing section of your workspace!

Stephanie Leong Great that this has been added, it still seems a bit buggy though? I've got a few presentations where it's just not working. The timecode updates to my selected frame but the poster frame doesn't actually change.
Would also be great to be able to manually type in the timecode rather than having to hit use current frame! :)
Stephanie Leong
Ed Steadman That's a great suggestion! Can you send over an email to support@pitch.com so we can look into this bug for you? Thanks!

It would be nice to be able to select a thumbnail for your videos, especially for exporting to PDF.

Please enable the ability to chose a poster frame for a video, as Keynote allows. A random frame selected in Pitch is very unfortunate for presentation design.

This would be extremely helpful. This would also allow control over which image is shown in an exported PDF in lieu of a video too. (Other requests to embed a video in the pdf seem unrealistic)

This is an important feature to allow users to have control of what they want to use to represent a video they drop onto a slide. The first frame is not always the best one! Thank youuuuuu.

I as a user really need to be able to grab or upload a specific thumbnail/preview image for my videos. Picking a random image from the video ended up in several bad experiences in my pitches :(

I just subscribed to Pitch Pro and was disappointed to find out it's not possible to set a thumbnail. I'm surprised this is not a more common feature request - possibly because not that many users are on a subscription plan yet.
Why is it so important? Well for starters, if I export a PDF, the video obviously isn't included and it just picks a random frame from the video. If my audience can't see the video, at least I want to show them the next best thing in the form of a compelling thumbnail. BONUS: Automatically add a link to view the video in the browser with the new link images feature when exporting a PDF!
Also, another reason why this is important because if videos are not auto-playing they are easy to miss as videos and might just look like an image. I like to include my thumbnail some messaging like "Play this video", a big play button, etc. - it would be great if the native play button of Pitch is not this tiny black circle but something you can customize and make obvious with styling.
Paid features need more love :) Cheers,
