Hi everyone, Happy New Year! 🎉
We’re very excited to announce that Pitch now supports exporting to PowerPoint (PPTX). The feature is available to everyone on our Pro plan. To share your decks with anyone who requires that format, click Share in the editor, select Export to PowerPoint, and click Export. Learn more about exporting to PowerPoint in this article: https://help.pitch.com/en/articles/6713988-export-a-presentation-to-power-point
If you have any feedback or questions, please let us know using the in-app messenger or by emailing us at support@pitch.com.

how to Export your Pitch presentation as PowerPoint file.

If your product is significantly better than ppt (which I think it is), there's no reason to play the walled garden strategy. The only thing it does is prevent interoperability which is a huge use case for most companies both internally and in external collabs (e.g. with agencies). I would advocate for Pitch as our internal standard presentation solution if it weren't for your export restrictions. I'm sure many users/companies feel the same way.

This is your number one most critical feature request. You already import from PPTX. So, it seems this is a business decision to withhold this capability to keep folks in your walled garden. It's disappointing to see this approach. Unfortunately, I cannot use Pitch.com without this capability.

Won't ever advocate the adoption of Pitch for the business I work in until this feature is present. Almost all clients ask for a ppt version so if we have to choose a platform clearly it's not Pitch but PowerPoint or Google Slides. For fuck's sake even Keynote exports in ppt, COME ON.

I'm actively trying to get my company off our Enterprise plan because it is so ludicrous that there is no export support for PPT.

Yes, as long as videos can't be played offline, I'll need to branch out...

On top of everything everyone here has already mentioned, needlessly being a gatekeeper is never a good move... someone more openminded is going to beat you to it and everyone will just migrate to that platform.

Luv it... def need a PowerPoint presentation so I can edit without internet.

This is a must, a majority of my presentations are done in areas without internet access. Without that, we're unable to use it - otherwise it hits 99% of the need.
