What exactly are you trying to do? What is your desired outcome?

Importing and placing PDFs in the same way you import and place images. At architectural offices this is crucial, as every presentation include drawings - plans, sections, details etc - and the standard format for these are PDF.

Converting PDFs to PNGs, which is not a sustainable workflow, and why we have to use other software for presentations (keynote / indesign)
